This usually refers to moves that are less than 100 miles and within the same state. What is an intrastate move? This refers to a move of more than 100 miles within the same state. How are fees calculated for interstate moves? Your moving company may charge you a set fee which depends on the inventory of your items and delivery timeframe. They may also charge you based on the weight or volume of your items. What is a bulkhead? This is a divider or partition that separates your items from the rest of the trailer or moving truck.
